Customer Review: Good Transitional Carseat
I was a little nervous buying this, since we were moving from the infant clip in / carrier carseat which is so easy to use, but we have had no problems at all with this. It was easy to install, and is easy to clip in my son and make any adjustments. We chose this model specifically because I fly often with my son, and we wanted a car seat that was reasonably sized. We have had no problems carrying this through the airport and switching cars often.
The only negatives are that we did have to look at the manual to adjust the shoulder strap height (my attitude is that if I have to use the manual, it’s not intuitive enough), and at 18 months, he has almost outgrown it (he is tall for his age), however, since this is our travel seat, it will be much easier to carry a non-convertible so I will not mind shelling out for another car seat.
Overall, I would highly recommend, but be aware that your child will outgrow this seat sooner than some of the bigger versions that Britax makes.
